Avery was born in October 1993 when the Atlanta Braves were really HOT!   Avery's parents did not have a girl's name picked out. They were glued to the TV that October watching the Braves and Steve Avery was one of their best pitchers/players. Since Avery's dad's name is Steve, her oldest brother, Brett jokingly suggested they name her Steve Avery Cooper.   Her mom thought, "Hmmm I like Avery Cooper.".  Avery's brother's names are Steven Brett and Charles Brian, so the Brooke for the middle name just naturally fit.  This made her name Avery Brooke Cooper with the initials ABC which she has adapted to her platform that she is so passionate about. 

Avery is pictured in a Steve Avery Braves jersey...............where her name came from!!!!!!
